At Brothers In Need, we have a very strong focus on mentoring and nurturing the youth of today, many of whom will be the leaders of tomorrow. Our programs assist their social, emotional and cognitive development, helping them to learn how to interact and communicate better with others.
We provide them with support in certain aspects of their life which they may not necessarily be receiving help with at home and at school. Our programs help to reduce risky behaviour among the youth of the community and promote and create a supportive environment at all times.
We encourage participation in recreational, sporting and academic activities but while there is a focus on team and group participation, the young people present also have the opportunity for one on one time with their mentors. It goes without saying that our programs are conducted in a safe and supportive environment. We currently have multiple programs which are very strongly attended and as our numbers continue to grow, we are looking at further expanding our youth initiatives.
